Pixel C's Windowless Theory
Since the major Android N update, which came with a window feature, came to the world of Pixel C, the developers at Google didn't turn the feature on. We have theories, though.
We think it is because Google want you to buy a new device. Apple do this a lot with updates, if you have an old device, you cannot update.
We also think that the mode is highly experimental and not covered in Terms Of Service or Warranty, because if the Pixel C goes wrong, Google goes wrong!
And lastly, the Pixel C doesn't come with a mouse. The window feature is designed for mice, and not touchscreen.
So, after those theories, hopefully you will be able to understand why your Pixel C doesn't have the feature.
