Ooooh! Android O is coming our way!

A recent talk from Google I/O 2017 has announced a release of a developer preview of Android O, a soon-to-become epic mobile operating system.

We love the new features that they've announced; for example there (finally) will be app badges so you can see what apps need attention on the home screen.

Also, there will be Picture-in-Picture mode so you can continue to watch your favourite YouTube videos or shows in other apps.

A cool new feature is Notification Channels; where notifications will be organised, well, into channels! They will also appear when you hold down your finger on an app on the home screen.

Also, the Autofill Framework will now work on Android so you can quickly fill out those good ol' time consuming forms!

If you have just noticed that the image above is the Settings app, we have something to say about this! The UI in the app is now going to be light colours and also you'll find your way quicker because things have been re-categorised.

Final thing: what will Android O be nicknamed? Oreo? Orangechocolate? Who knows?!

By the way, you can get the new system here!
